After testing all of them. id have to say that the MX BROWN SWITCHES are my favorite. which ones do you guys prefer! btw if your a gamer and you haven't tried a mechanical keyboard your missing out ! Maxim Posted December 17, 2014 Report Share Posted December 17, 2014 MX Clears are my favorite but they're not too common. I have a CODE keyboard from WASD and I love it. Heavy springs, very tactile, no click. Love them. MX Browns are in second place for me. They're not as heavy as Clears and have a smaller tactile "bump" but I still like them. They're definitely easier to find than Clears. MX Blues are alright for me. I had a keyboard with Blues but I got sick of the clickiness when playing games because it's loud as hell over voice chat. Never had a chance to try a keyboard with MX Greens but given that they're stiffer Blues I have a feeling I would still dislike the click. I'm not a fan of linear switches so MX Reds and MX Blacks are at the bottom of my list. Still haven't had an opportunity to type on a keyboard with Topre switches. Thinking about getting one after Christmas to try it out. wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . It makes using the exo suit so smooth... My current keyboard is a Logitech G710+. Got it off amazon the Saturday after black Friday for $89. I wanted Browns, but Ducky boards are hard to find anyway and I ended up with the special edition they made with NZXT. I was torn between a Shine 3 and a K70, but ended up going with the Shine 3, since NZXT already hooked me up with a rig, so I wanted to return the favor by actually buying something from them I hate membrane keyboards now. Mech feels so much better. omg_spoon Posted December 19, 2014 Report Share Posted December 19, 2014 I had a das with browns for 2 years then i switched to a shine 3 with reds. Been using that for like most of the year. The ducky is just a flat out nicer keyboard than my das. I like both the switches the same. Some days i miss the browns. Some days i like the reds.
