Rockford 3sixty.2 HELP!

RF-Fan

Recommended Posts

My 3sixty.2 stopped working and is now functioning as a 3sixty.1, it will only work if I connect it with the 3sixty.1 software! There is sound so there's nothing blown inside. It is a v2 model so it has the upgraded Bluetooth. How do I fix this problem? Do I need a firmware upgrade and is it possible to do it on my own? I also hear about an unlock code supplied in the box for firmware upgrade, not sure if that's true. Can I upgrade via a Windows PC or a Palm?

I don't think he is here anymore. Nobody replied to the only two posts he ever had almost two years ago. Maybe contact Rockford. Welcome to SMD.

I do have a solution to this problem, I sent an email to Rockford explaining the problem I had with this processor, along with a picture of the back of my 3Sixty.2 with the serial number visible. They did reply and sent me an unlock code for my specific processor. Here are a few solutions.....

Option 1: Using the 3Sixty.1 PC software go ahead and connect to the unit, in the "Device Level" field put in the specific code for your unit. That should unlock the unit and put it back to a 3Sixty.2

Option 2: Using the 3Sixty.1 Palm software go ahead and connect to the unit, click the "Hardware Info" button. Next to the "Upgrade Device" button at the bottom of the screen, enter in the code and hit unlock.

I had the exact same problem

Contact Rockford and ask them to provide you with an unlock code for your unit. Once you have that code, follow the instructions I have provided and it should restore your unit back to a 3Sixty.2
