Max box size is 40"w 17"t 29"bottome depth and 22" top depth.. dsw422 Posted February 27, 2015 Author Report Share Posted February 27, 2015 so i made the box for my buddy, and turns out i was off by just a little on my measurements.. i should have made the box 1.5 inches narrower.. the rear corners are hitting on the back side trim.. since the body comes down at an angle, instead of straight down, it hits right there.. it didnt allow the back seats to lock in place.. soo, to fix my mistake, i cut just the material away that was hitting.. still gotta sand and repaint, but looks good i think.. only question i have is, would the tuning frequency be affected by this?? on the port side, i just cut away the material hitting and assumed since it'll be a tight fit to the interior, the interior will act like the rest of the port... here are some pics of what he is putting in it and my fix.. oh and in the pics the box is on its side.. just want to make it clear it is a top mount box!! its on the side to work on it.. lol dont mind all the wood filler.. lol.. 2014 Ford Focus SE Sedan Factory Sony 10 Speaker Sound System 1994 Ford Bronco Dual head unit (i kno) Sony door speakers Kenwood Rear Speakers Custom Center console in the works. will house an NVX NSW10" https://m.facebook.com/WinnsCustomCarAudio/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
