Hey guys, i am new to car audio. I have one dual 4 ohm voice coils Kicker CVR 12 that i am looking for an amp for. The sub is rated at 400 watts RMS and 800 watts Peak, i currently have a planet audio 1500.1 mono block amp. (just not what im looking for) If anyone could help me pick out an amp that would be great. If i could i would like it to be under $200 dollars. Thank you for your time.

No that's too much amp for that sub, even if all of SoundQubed doesn't do rated like the 2200.

Edit - sorry, didn't see that it was a dual 4 ohm. My bad.

no its not, he has a d4 sub so wire it to 2 ohm and back down on the gain. If you pay attention to what youre doing you can get away with alot, hell Im running 1500w to a sa8

Yeah I'm sorry. I caught the dual 4 after I posted.

I love the amp you posted... however what is your opinion of the Hifonics Brutus... i am thinking about getting another cvr but that would have to come later. I have a buddy who has the Brutus and he loves it. Again... thanks for your help.
