I have a small size SUV, and Im trying to run two 18" subs that need a (xx) minimum volume in a standard vented box. To achieve this I need to face subs up and vent up. Now I've always faced subs and vent towards rear. And a lot of people keep telling me to face subs up and vent towards rear. What I want to know is, is it that much of a difference. And if there is that much of a difference what about compared to two 15" subs faced up vent towards rear. As this I can achieve.

(two 18" subs, subs and vent faced up) -VS- (two 15" subs, subs faced up vent towards rear)??

I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee and did subs up port up about 10 inches from the roof. Shit got real nasty. Best/loudest set up I've had I say go for it as long as you have plenty of air space.
