BigManAC Posted January 26, 2015 Report Share Posted January 26, 2015 Well I came outside this morning to go to school and noticed my rear driver side door was not shut all of the way. Thinking I forgot to close it all the way I went up and hip bumped it but it just popped right back out. Then I noticed the marks on the door. Someone tried to pry the door open in two different places. They also tried to open the front passenger door but failed both times. I've lived here for 8 years and have never had this problem. It just pisses me off that someone would try and take the stuff I've worked so hard to buy and so hard and spent so much time trying to install and get everything right. Police report was filed and I'll be on the lookout for anyone around my car. They probably won't come back and try again, at least they won't if they are smart. I'm setting up a gopro and will have it focused on the car and needless to say since I probably won't be able to sleep the next night or two I'll be up as well. Ohh just let me catch those little fuckers who think they can take my shit. No but I do have homeowners that will cover any property taken from the vehicle just not damage to it. Hopefully they dont try to break in again. You can actually get into a car by prying it open but it's a waste of time and effort. They tried to take the 10s twice but my guess is the skinny little shits weren't strong enough to carry the 120-150 lbs loaded box I bolt my shit down now, alarm, 2way, that funky bar that goes in the steering wheel etc It could still be taken, it'll just be a little harder . The main reason I haven't put an alarm on my car is because I have never had this problem before. Its a nice neighborhood and we know all of our neighbors. One thing I will be looking for and getting are security screws for the amp, speakers and possibly sub. That way even if they do break in they won't be able to take anything. As of now the seats are locked and they won't know where to look for the latch release and the valet is set that way they need my key to get into the trunk.
