Canadian Shows/Meets

This thread may be a flop, but I have been searching for a while now on the forums and it seems there are a few Canucks around here, but is there anyone on here who actively attends Canadian shows? or even knows about any for that matter? Other then local car shows where im sure if I showed up with a system I wouldn't even be able to run it, and nobody would give a damn, I havent come across any. I even spent time "google-ing" for ANY Canadian shows or other forums. I would love to attend Slamology and Autorama someday but the drive and time aren't really do-able at this point, even if I did have a ride to compete with the massive systems around, it would probably be more economical to fly in and bring a photo-album haha. I realize it has to do with our lack of population up here, but common, there's got to be some people around interested in audio.

Im thinking that if enough people are interested, we could do what we Canadians do best and politely and cooperatively work out a location to have some meet ups, even just for fun demo sessions. For the record, I am north of Calgary right now, but will be moving to Calgary come fall for school. But it would be cool to know who all we have on here regardless of where you are.

There are a few shows in bc every year. I only made it to one of them last year, usually pretty small.

Figured about as much, it's really unfortunate that we don't have more people up here into big systems.
