I would say the 1,000 into 2 ohms, wiring below it's "rated" impendance to .5 would in theory, at least in my mind, result in a higher score. Efficiency and risk factor pop up though, along with voiding the warranty.

interested in the other answers, along with yours, Tony.

1000w @ 2ohm

More efficient less strain on amp

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.

i dont think that was the question. he asked what amp will be louder not which amp will be more efficient.. efficiency dont make an amp louder it just spends less watts to get same results..

if you wire at .5 ohms you dont get as much impedance rise as to wiring at 2 ohms

so. the lower you wire.. the less rise you get?

huh....

Migules you don't get more rise if you have 2. Ohms of box rise it's 2 ohms period

So at .5 ohms you will rise to 2.5 ohms at 2 ohms you would rise to 4 ohms still 2 ohm rise now I think it's a loaded question cause I need to know what amp a does at 2 ohms and what amp b does at 4 ohms they could be very different

As it sits a 1000 watts is a 1000 watts at .5 ohms or 2 ohms or he'll even 8 ohms the only difference would be .5 draws more current and makes more heat then the 2. Ohm amp

i agree, what amp is this because the rockford bdcp does 1000 at 1 and 2 ohm.

Then it would be across the board..

what amp dont matter...

if one does A at

and the other does B at

The at is the same....... period..
