djangelo8829
First of all I'm new to this forum so im barely getting familiar with everything around here, also i don't know if this is the right place to ask this question, so here it goes just like the title. I just grabbed a Sundown Audio SA8 V2 D4 for my hyundai xg 350 and i was wondering what amps are recommended for it, its just one and im not planning to get another one since this car is my project. I've seen a lot of 500-700 watt amps but i want a personal and professional opinion. About the box i was looking for some prefabs but if i can get the measurements i believe i would save some buks. Thanks in advance

KMS
Alpine PDXV9. 500w to the subwoofer channel, and 100w to 4 channels. This is a 5 channel amplifier. You can use those 4 channels for the future if you plan on ever upgrading the door speakers. Doubling the power to 1000w on the sub will give a few extra db but at the cost of electrical demand. 500w in a vehicle is plenty. Light weight and size appropriate. I run this with an SA12 and a Alpine Type R 8 throughout my moods. Alpine PDX-V9 Morel Tempo 6 Alpine SBR-S8-4 Alpine CDE 149BT
