Andrew Storlie Posted March 30, 2015 Report Share Posted March 30, 2015 Im working on a system build, 4-Hdc4 15s in a wall, im running a single 300amp alt but need to work on my battery bank, i know the xs batteries are "the best" but at almost 300 i can get 2 of the optima d34 batteries and that also adds up to a larger AH resevoir. I will be running 2 3500's so im either thinking 3 of the xspower 3100's or 6 of the optima D34's..... any veiws or thoughts, space is not an issue, and personally id like the looks 6 batts in the trunk, but a stong electrical comes before looks. I plan to run 4 HDC4-15's in a 16.75ft^3 box tuned at 36hz port will be 270in^2 an 20inches deep. plan to run 2 sq4500's strapped at 2ohms (just under 10krms) i have a 300A alt, but i might need a 2nd. if i go with xs3100's ill have 6 in the back and a smaller under the hood.
