Sundown Audio

Just bought a Sundown nsv3 12" d2... Need some help

Recommended Posts

First off, I got it through woofersetc and they'll refund it for about two more weeks, anyway... I literally just hooked the thing up and got it tuned and now it's making a loud mechanical sound on some songs that I can only assume is the coils, I'm running this thing at 2400 watts rms clean as possible and have maybe 2 hours on it, is this a manufacturing error?

I tried calling Sundown's number at 4ish EST and they were closed, I'm literally disgusted, spent about $1000 on just the sub for it to do this.

I'm not trying to bash sundown or anything, I just don't have a clue if I just got unlucky with the sub I got or what.

The actual dimensions would be better and some pics if you can.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Are you using your subsonic filter?

Playing below tuning?
