Long time reader First time Poster.I have a 2010 Altima Currently have 2 Alpine Type R 12's. Was in a rush so bought a ported box. Bass sounds off so would like a custom cox. What would be the best specs for a box. Box Builder need Central California Area.

cant build one for you but the 12s sound best around 2 cubes per woofer, 14-15 port area/cube, ported around 35-37hz at rated power (1000w), and they will do pretty good, im a big fan of type r's myself. Here's a link to one I built for 2 12s last fall, port area was a little low but it never choked it off, just could have been more. it was tuned at 32 however, it sounded great!

-If its loud, fast, outrageous, or all of the above, chances are i'll think its awesome.

-"No way he's OCD." -said none of the people that know me ever.

Here is one spec for two current generation SWR-12D4 Alpine type Rs, subs/ port forwards / backwards, need to verify dimensions are good for your vehicle, power: to sub(s) rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 4 1/4", figure is just an assembly guide:

NOTE: If building outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box to test fit in it's way inside.
