TaurusBass1021
What about the kicker 1500.1?
Jhunt94
unless your looking for an amp that will do 1500 at 3-4 ohms, it would probably be better to wire it down to 1 ohm. Jhunt94
If you can find it for the price you want, then yeah it would work. There are some on here that use Kicker amps 2007 Ford F-150 Reg. Guest
My suggestion is the Sundown 1500.1 http://store.soundsolutionsaudio.com/products/sundown-audio-scv-1500d-1500w-mono-block-amplifier.html That is definitely over your budget but you won't find anything close to what you want for much cheaper and of this quality. With this amp you could wire your sub down to 0.75ohm, which this amp is def capable of especially if you factor in box rise. But if you want to run anything below 1ohm you should have a strong electrical to work with. Also, what is the sub you are using?
TaurusBass1021
The sundown is out of my price range but I dont mind to save some more money up in order to get one of those. Ive heard great things about Sundown Audio, and with this being a future competition setup I feel that would most likely be my best route to go with Im guessing. The sub is a custom Fi BL 12 Here are the custom parts that it was built with. *FI BL motor *TI Basket *Sundown Zv2 cone *2 stiff linear 10" spiders *D1.5 ohm flat wound 8 layer coil *Genesis Carbon Fiber Dust Cap
TaurusBass1021
And I am pretty confident in my electrical for now. I am in the process of getting a second battery and adding a second alternator as well since its much cheaper than buying the High Output Alt that is made for my taurus. I have 0 gauge power and ground wires and I also did the Big 4 upgrade as well with the 0 gauge wire.
Guest
I hear ya, well the only things cheaper I can think of are that nendo one that was already mentioned...you could try checking droppin hz to see if they have it in stock. There is also that soundqubed 1200.1 amp, I have heard of people running it below one ohm before! Its no sundown but its not bad for the price! Except I think they are out of stock too lol
Jhunt94
The nendo is out of stock on droppinhz, I know I've seen birth sheets of Prime 1200.1's above 1400 at 1 ohm but you wouldn't see exactly what was on the birth sheet. Also from the specs of the sub, is that the power rating that was given to you after it was rebuilt or are you just giving the power rating for a Fi BL? 2007 Ford F-150 Reg. Cab.
