you hold 13.8 on two 190s? Ya.. wire down, cuz your not making SHIT for power. (ill bet my single 270 does more damage than those... at idle..)

Also, sell your bank anyway, its not doing you any good, if you are holding a volt over their rest...........

I have dual 350a singer alternators. 1 d3400 up front and 5 d3100 for a dc 9k and think I have an alright eletrical.you have half the alternator power I do and you think you have a decent electrical? how are you getting that voltage reading? chances are it's not accurate

Sell everything and start over. There is no way to you're holding 900a amps of current on 380a of alternator power. It'd not possible

Has anyone tried it? Any bad results? I'm going to be running 4 AB VFL15's 20cu. ft. @ 32 hz and am currently cunning the 12.0 @ 1 ohm on 2 of the subs nearly no voltage drop 13.8 full tilt sitting still. Problem is my subwoofer recones from AB are only available in dual 1 ohm config. so I'm hoping I can get away with .5 daily with a bit more storage and this 270 amp alt I've been looking into any advice or input would be great thanks again

13.8v idling on 2 190a alts? regardless of battery bank, if at idle, so realistically probably 70a-100a per alt, drawing 900-1000a (if you are really getting power out of it), there is no way you are holding "13.8v full tilt sitting still."

I have 2 270a alts, and 6 group 31's, 1 group 34 (4 XS power @ 3 deka's), and with 2 5k boards @ .5 each, i can get it down to 12.9v without even clipping the amplifiers.
