I have a 2000 dodge durango, im doing a 6th order bandpass, well as some of you may know, 6th orders are usually pretty large, well im going to be using 9 sheets of wood. As far as MDF thats around 900 lbs, in just box weight, not including Subs, batteries, amps, ect...

So do any of yall that have done this have had such bad sag you needed to do suspension work?

Thanks in advance!

I've got more than that in my build with no helper springs or anything. The good thing is you're using a full size truck. It'll take the weight better.

I call it the 2200 lowering kit. 2200 lbs of gear you won't be doing any drag racing but it won't be terrible either.

Didn't realize MDF sheets weighed that much....

I got air shocks and help air bags, the cheap kits, they work good. each is roughly 80-90 bucks I think and you can install yourself. One or the other would most likely be more than enough for you. Hope they make them for Durnago

Cheap way to lift the truck back up is if the truck has leaf springs go to the junk yard and get a few and add them to the stock springs. Even if you like the lowered look you can add one to help with sag. Eventually the weight will make the springs sag and the extra springs will help a bit

From experience. I actually am building a sixth order right now in a 99 yukon denali. With tow package.

And it is bottomed out wothout having any equip in. Helper bags are my next purchase. Unless you like watching ur dash rattle every bump u hit and feel every crack in the road invezt in some tear suspension.

last build was my malibu walled on a single skar 4500 @.33 daily

6 deka g31 batts Singer 330a alt 4 runs of 3/0 front-back

I had far more stuff in my truck than you and it's not bottomed out. I also hauled a bunch of paver stones and mulch before it bottomed out. Same frame same suspension.
