Pioneer 4100-NEX - anyone got one?

Recommended Posts

Been 3 years since I've looked at head units. Finally think there is a dash kit coming for my truck in the next month or so. Always been a pioneer head unit fan and really like the looks of the 4100 but haven't seen anyone using one much. Anyone have one? What OS phone are you using?

My friends wife has the 8000nex and she loves it.

She has an iPhone 6 plus.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

It does not turn off all the way like most head units rather it goes into standby with a black screen but is technically still on.

with Apple announcing iOS9 and wireless Apple Carplay, i'd wait till next years models come out if you are an Apple user. if you are an Android user than just give it a few months b/c someone hacks Android Auto for wireless use.
