I Have been look all over the SMD Forums and as well Google, And i can not find a straight answer what would be the best product for my Altima's Trunk. Damplifier Pro or Spectrum. I Was thinking Spectrum In the Trunk and Damplifier Pro On the doors.

They both are designed to perform the pretty much the same, it basically comes down to preferred method of application. The peel and stick Damplifier/D Pro will have to be cut into shape while the liquid Spectrum will go on easier. One thing to watch for in the doors is not spraying/brushing Spectrum onto the window or working window parts. Great thing about Spectrum is you can spray on different thicknesses for different noise areas (i.e 1-2 coats on roof for 1-2 mm coating and 2-4 coats in high noise areas like trunks, wheel wells for a 3-4 mm coating). 1 Gal of Spectrum will cover 10sqft at the recommended 3mm thickness. PS It can be sprayed, brushed, or rolled on and it should go on any metal you are able to spray it on in the doors/trunk. If you search Second Skin Spectrum on google or you tube you will find a lot of videos out there of the product being sprayed, here is just one video for you

Thanks for helping out. Would it be a good idea to lay the spectrum down first then later add some Damplifer Pro or should it be the other way around. As well how many gallons would 2010 Altima trunk need would 5 Gallons be way to much or just enough.

If you plan on using both Spectrum and Damplifier together we would suggest using Damplifier first then adding the Spectrum on top for best results. Each gallon will cover 10sqft at the recomended 3mm thickness achieved by 2-3 coats.

As far as the sale goes, sorry it is over but our next sale will be in a few weeks for the Fourth of July...keep your eye open on the forum, Facebook, Instagram, or email list.
