T-Line for a massive 24" woofer?

I am very intrigued by the reviews of T-Line enclosures but I cant find any good "how to" for building one. this all seem ridiculously complicated and half way through the process I am always asked for some number or value I don't know or understand.

So here is the Deal. I have 2 24" woofers. dual 1 ohm

I want to know if I can even build a T-Line box for these. I want 2 separate boxes as they are in 10cu sealed boxes now and it takes 2 dudes and a hand-truck to move them. I will be using them in my theater so size is not an issue although 30" or less in one direction would be nice so it fits through doorways. my only other constraints would be the use of 4x8 material so a 10ft tall box would not work.

Am I crazy. is it doable, and if so where should I start for a design?

Bruh, there is an amazing T-Line tutorial in the forum that you posted this topic in...

I call bullshit on you can't find any good how to. If there are values, and phrases and shit you don't understand. Then you just might want to think that designing one is not for you yet.

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

no.

you should start your design of a tline with understanding what they are and how they work and you would answer your own question.

Martin J king...frugal horns....t-linespeakers.org or some shit...forgot what it is. Google it.

Those are low EBP subs that are specifically designed to work well in a sealed enclosure, and they do that VERY well. I think you are only going to hurt your overall performance by trying to use them in a T-line.

If you are determined to try anyway, you need to learn to use Hornresp. I can help if you need.

Can we see some pics of what you have now?

I'd like to see the whole system, it must be pretty impressive if you're using a couple 24's to handle the lows.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

WTF when did this come out?

Also, Guentha, not sure if you have come across this document yet but it seems the best way to test something like this in an easy cheap way to see how your subs may sound or react in that environment is to use straight sonotubes. http://www.teresaudio.com/haven/subs/subs.html

It's going to be a super long and in one direction but it's good for temporary testing to get the lengths right. The guy has some good ideas along with too.

Do you have a tractor-trailer available?
