Hi everyone,

I recently installed an audiocontrol lc2i in a car.

My problem is that when i turn the car on the processor turns on for about 3 to 5 seconds and then shuts off. I'm using the gto remote feature and used the remote port as a turn on for my amps.

Any suggestions or anyone know what the problem is?

thanks!

Is the power wire fused to the LC2i? If not, you might be giving it too much power. Also, check your ground wire.

What? Where did you learn that from? So no fuse equals too much power vs fused equals less power?

Check the GTO switch to make sure it's not in bypass, check your speaker inputs going into the LCi, probably not enough juice from your radio for the LCi, I would just run a remote wire from your fuse box to the LCi, something with 12v switched....

Not what I meant as too much power. Meant it as it could be getting too much current and is trying to protect itself from further damage. That's what happened to a friend of mine. Once he fused the power wire to it, it stopped shutting off.

That's not how that works at all. Something else happened.

I'm just sharing from past experience. That's all. Just trying to cover all his bases here.
