I checked all wires and they where fine can someone please give me some info on what could have caused this problem.

Broke_Audio_Addict
How much power are you feeding them? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Guest
Bi-amping your component set removes issue with the passive crossover...as far the driver goes...it could be a blown speaker, or a bad connection...make sure all your wires are connected properly first...if all wiring is good, then check the speaker with a dmm and see if it reads an impedance close to what the driver is rated for...if the impedance is jumping around and not staying at the same number, then it is likely blown...this could be caused by overpowering it or a clipped signal.
