Yea life's not fair, but a dude with 15 12's and just uses his sisters car could of won this and just pawned off the gear instead of someone who could of used it. I'm not saying the winner shouldn't deserve it or has a system, hella congrats to him. But this event kinda doesn't makensense. That's all like I said congrats homie on the win! Next month should be geared to those who don't got jack If you think the contest should be only for people who don't have anything at all, why don't YOU do the giveaway? And when you do the giveaway, you should show up at the winner's house so you can verify they "don't got jack". For free, even paid shipping to a person that could "use" it more. In the end, the free swag is rad, but,i like the SOTM for what it does for hobby we all love, people, family/friends/members, and checking out everyones rig, and just trying to help others if possible. I always found it a little strange giving audio prizes to folks with built up systems, kind of like the rich getting richer type of thing. Im not saying they dont deserve it, their hard work deserves all the credit in the world. However this contest made 100x more sense to me, giving a great set of prizes to someone who doesnt have anything yet. I hope that this type of contest keeps up in the future, maybe along side the usual system of the month. Or perhaps one of the system of the month winners would be noble enough to donate their prize to any of the 80+ people that entered in this contest. At 9:15pm last night my girlfriend had our first son, @ 30 weeks. I woke up at like 4pm (i work nights) to my girlfriend rushing to the hospital. Although he's super early he's perfectly healthy & just a bit under weight but stable and doctors say he's doing fine. I happened to hop on SMD while i was waiting for her in surgery & saw that i won moments after hearing his first cry. Pretty crazy end to a pretty crazy day. Anyways i just wanted to say thanks to Steve & Sundown & All the new members that entered, hopefully you stick around & be apart of this amazing community that Steve created!
