poorfish88
Get the dual 4 ohm sub...... The coils can be wired to 2 ohm.
RainStryke
Yeah, you need a dual 4 OHM subwoofer. If you plan on getting two subs, you need to get dual 2 OHM subs. Here is a recommended subwoofer i'd get instead of that kicker: http://www.soundqubed.com/HDS315_p_229.html The D4 version.

Moreno93
Correct but it'll give you room to upgrade ? Underpowering wont make a big difference with it missing 200W's plus the soundqubed is a better choice

firebirdude
200W is insignificant at this power level. Absolutely an inaudible difference given all other variables equal. Secondly, power ratings are simply ballparks. Ten billion other variables are going to come into play before calculating true power handling of a particular subwoofer in a particular enclosure juiced with a particular signal. This message board is anti-Kicker and pro anything that's more uncommon. Dollar for dollar, yeah, the HDS315 is going to be louder. But in a heads up race, the L7 would walk all over it. Let's try to compare apples to apples here.
Moreno93
If the L7 wont be louder what will it do better then the HDS?
