Good day to you the SMD community,

I am looking for advice on a box build for my 10W6v2. The thing is I don't really know what to do with it.. I've got boot space and all, but all of my boxes that I had before were ported and I am thinking about sealed and I don't know if I will like it.. I had it in an old ported box of mine for some time, but the output is really not the one I desire and building the box to the specifications might change it.

The build I am looking should provide deep bass without the "fart" sound. Maybe I am over exaggerating, but this is pretty much the sound I dislike:

it sound a bit different in car, but you get the idea. It overpower my mids and highs and its not a pleasant sound. It just hitting hard.

I really enjoy the sound of my Logitech Z5500 sub, which is sitting under my desk, but it would be stupid to compare home audio with car audio.

What we are working on:

Sub: 10W6v2-D4 running at 2 ohms

Amp: DLS D1000 produces 750 RMS at 2 ohms

Car: Toyota Avensis 07 !!!WAGON/ESTATE!!!

HU: Stock Panasonic something something, running off a Hi Low converted. (Can't be changed or really difficult and expensive change it would be)

WHAT I HAD IN MIND:

I really like the OEM JL boxes, but they are nowhere to be found locally in my country, so I was thinking of ordering a replica of:

or a sealed version of:

Or I can go with bigger custom box. Sealed or Ported.

What would you recommend. Thank you for your advice in advance.

This is the one I tried. ONLY USED ONE SIDE, since I only own 1 W6. This one is about 35L can't really tell anything else (I sold it yesterday), it was designed for 10W3v3 if I recall corectly, but I did not enjoy the outcome of it. It was pretty close to what you hear in the video from 1:00. Hard, loud, overpowering mids and highs in some songs if not turned down.

Just looking how wide are the ports i'd say it was tuned way high, what you describe, playing midbass really strong pretty much confirms that, also theses subs are recommended for 1.5 net usually more is given, from your comment 1.2 cubic feet was given, no doubt you are in for a new box.
