jmkanek
Just wondering if the XS vcms will work with an internally regulated js ultimate alts 300a 6 phase hairpin alternator. The alt has a 4 pin oval. Wanting to run 16 volt system with this alt Thanks. If you're hoping to run a dedicated 16v system then you will need a 16v battery bank, step down module for your vehicles electrical system, and you'll need to have the alt rebuilt to handle a 16v output. I have ran 16volt in a past build. the xs power vcm supposed to work with internal regulated alternators to alter charging voltage, but i have read somewhere about them only being able to adjust 6 phase hairpin alternators up in the 15 volts range, but don't see why i couldn't adjust to the normal 19.0-19.2 for the 16 volt bank. Just wantiing to verify with someone at XS before i order the VCM. Quote 1995 Acura integra
