JoeJeep
Didn't realize people were still helping out in this thread! Thanks, RainStryke I did not realize that myself, stupid noob mistake. I have contacted soundqubed about trying to exchange for a D2 as i doubt even with a new 200 amp alternator I found that my electrical could handle .5 ohm. I also know most amps aren't stable below 1 ohm. Zarate76 How did the brx2400 work out for you? The only amp I found to claim to be stable at .5 ohm was soundstream t1.6000DL but from what I've read they're not great amps.
RainStryke
This is a solid .5OHM stable amp: http://www.droppinhzcaraudio.com/sound-magus-vs3500-1-high-performance-class-d-5-ohm-stable-mono-bass-amplifiers/
JoeJeep
thanks again Rainstryke I contacted soundqubed and it seems like they might let me exchange it for a D2. I doubt i'll have enough electrical for .5 ohm i was struggling to find a fairly cheap 200 amp alternator as it is. If i can get the D2 I was planning on getting the sq 2200, any opinions on that amp or better recommendations around the same price?
Sheamus
I've been running a Soundqubed 2200 for about a year and half now on a single XS D3400, big three, 136 amp stock alt at 1 ohm with no problems
