Ever since I did the system in "Bis-Kwik" with the Sundown X6.5's my wife has been asking for a small system in her Nissan Versa Hatch Back.

I got her 2 X6.5's and started collecting equipment for her!

So I hit my Buddy up Jared Gibson and told him I wanted to do a T-Line build in her car with 2 X6.5's, She wanted something very musical so I felt like this was the way to go. He got some help with the design of it.

I kept collecting! I got a Rockford Fosgate T400-2 for the sub's and a T400-4 for the door speakers

I wanted to keep the factory Head Unit in her car cause of all the features it already done. BUT I did not want to cut the factory wiring harness so I bought a Audio Control Dq-61 processor and this is what the 9 wire was for

I ordered male & female plugs for the factory harness so I could tap into it

Time to start soldering!

Her factory speakers was JUNK but I did like the way they was mounted so I decided to cut up the factory speaker and use the ring!

I decided to run the Sundown Sa-6.5cx Coaxial's in the doors but make them bolt straight up and plug directly into the factory harness!

Dust a flying!

Starting to look like something!!! The cut out on the right is where the XP750 battery will end up going

Made some test cuts for the front baffle

DSCN0011_zpsvzz6ltfv.jpg

There will be a plexy-glass baffle behind the front one with LED's in it. That's where the name Black Widow came from! It will be Black with Red LED's

Getting closer & closer!!! Still have to smooth all the kerf's and paint everything, FAR from being done!

Question for the dumb (me), why all the extra I used space built into the box?

Trust me that's not a dumb question cause a BUNCH of people have asked that! To keep the port length and width correct in the required foot print I had to work with this is how it ended up. So I never see wasted space I always see room to hide stuff! LOL Anyhow I am making the large empty space a battery compartment as well as all my wires will come through here so there will be no wires seen on the outside of the box. We are building a amp rack on top of the box as well. It will make more sense when we are further along on the box build!
