bassaddiction Posted January 27, 2016 Report Share Posted January 27, 2016 whats up guys im going to build a box for my surround sound here s what i was thinking, if someone could 2x check it before i build it that would be great its for a sundown x 18 v1 im only using one vc bc other is blown. i may re cone it one ""aka never"" im powering it with a halfer p7000 diablo rack mount amp im really just going to be using it for music more then surround sound any input would help thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That should smooth out the frequency response quite a bit. Other than that your box specs look pretty good. Unfortunately the problem with only use one coil of a DVC sub is it changes the T/S parameters of the sub. If I remember correctly it raises the QES/QTS and decreases the BL. This makes it pretty hard to predict what kind of performance you are going to get. Just something to keep in mind.
