I found these when i was looking for a replacement for my blown 10 inch in my DJ setup that i am building from the leftovers from my truck.

The Lanzar OPTI10HPRO4 is a coaxial speaker with a horn tweeter that goes through the pole piece of the host motor.

It is truly two separate drivers and could even be biamped if you wanted to.

I didnt use the grills that came with them and instead reused my steel grills. This is the 10 inch version and it also comes in 8, 6x9, and 6 inch as well. this might be a good option for someone who wants to get loud and not hack up the doors for a tweeter. These sound good at normal volume up close and at full power from a diatance.

Interesting, I know someone who might like these.

Have you hooked them up yet?

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

One forward and one back pointed at the back window. A single Inuke 6000 4 channel and 2 15 inch Pyle subs. I have 2 more Pyle subs so these will be "towers".

An old Sherwood two knob tape deck with MP3 player on CD input and Sony EQ round out the package.

Yes and they jam. They are a mid woofer and are only advertised to play down to 80hz. They sound good and with the garage windows open it fills the whole yard. great for a bonfire. They are rated for 1000wrms so we will see.

Update:

After several backyard events and a "Block Party" it seems that they are broken in now. They now sound just as good up close as they do far away when cranked up. I have met several people in the neighborhood that have lived here for years. Now my back yard is the place to be on the weekends. I plan on getting two more and making boxes for two 10s each.
