NS1 and SCV 7500 comparison

Currently running an NS1, but im wondering if there would be any benefits to upgrading to an SCV 7500. My operating voltage is 14.3v with occasional drop to high 12's. The audio show i went to i had several people making offers on the amp and im at a loss as to why. Yes i understand it may be a monster at 16-18 volts but my 2 sp4's seem to be laughing at this thing. At my voltage would the SCV be more beneficial to me?

I'll do body filler all day every day, but this reinforced, fortified fucking kitty hair can kiss my balls.

I think people are asking about it because it's discontinued. Not being produced anymore, I believe. Most online retailers don't have it up for sale so that's why I am saying that.

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

In other words more of a collectors item! Guess i should have put a little more research into amp comparisons befor making my purchase. Though i think i got a deal on it at the time.

Anyone with knowledge of these 2 amps?

Ive done as much research as i can handle and am more confused as i was! Ive seen both amps on a dyno. Seen NS1's putting down 9k at 14.8 volts, and ive saw a SCV 7500 put down 8.5k at 14.4 volts! My system rest at 14.3 volts but dip into 12's at full tilt on certain frequencies. My voltage holds pretty good (high 13's) at my tuning frequency of 34hz. What options do I have to get more power out of this amp or would stepping up to the SCV really be of any benefit? These 2 sp4's are begging for more power, hell i haven't even got them warm yet! "Not that thats a bad thing"

I don't have the knowledge you seek but I will tell what I know.

NS1=high voltage (does not protect in the 15's like the 7500) this amp IMO is more based on people who run higher voltage, it will make power at any voltage but it really shines when run on a higher voltage system. Most people still run it on a 12 volt system anyway.

7500=12 volt system and makes it's power down low. This amp is much newer and I think made to accommodate where MOST people hold their voltage (12'ish when on the volume knob)
