Karkov Posted May 3, 2016 Report Share Posted May 3, 2016 I see more and more people running the XS15k but no one running the XS30k, why? is it because of the price? My take on it, the 15k is rated for half the wattage as the 30k but the 30k does not cost twice as much so in theory the 30k would be a better deal however the 15k is a G34 platform and the 30k is a G31 platform and a G34 is not THAT MUCH smaller than a G31 so is the G31 (30k) really capable of twice the capability?!?!?! I have limited knowledge of batteries FYI I know the cost of either is scary and just the cost of the 30k is like more than double of what some people have into their whole set up, lol. Everyone who has a XS15k seems to be enjoying/impressed by them. Is anyone running the XS30k and can give some real world experience? Is there a direct comparison some where in real world testing?! What Ive gathered is that if you want to go Lithium, look into JY Power.... Or Juicebox if you dont mind the lack of passive balancing. It's hard to compare the two Normally is people saying "well my 26 d3100s held voltage better than my 1 40ah lithium, guess they aren't all that good" Well no shit. He had a lot of JY batteries and a ton of caps, and switched to the d7500s.
