JerryLZ
I'm running (4) RF Punch P1683's. I would like to get a amp on these speakers finally but I don't know much about mids and highs so thats why I'm here Preferred brands would be Sundown or RF but I'm open for suggestions. These call for power range: 6-65 watts RMS (130 watts peak power) Side note: I remember seeing something awhile back that was basically a harness that made it easy to run your speakers back to your amp without needing to run wire to each door individually (connected to headunit harness) . Is this a viable option for speakers in my power range?

Would I need 2 of these? I know my speakers are 4ohm, just trying to figure out in my head how this would be wired up.
MrSkippyJ
You could do either. 4 channel would give you fade/balance capabilities. _paralyzed_
When you run two 4 ohm speakers in parallel you get a 2 ohm load. You can use a 2 channel amp for all 4 speakers. Front and rear left on the left channel, F & R right on the right channel. You will not be able to fade from front to rear like this. You need a 4 channel amp to retain the fader control. Mariothadon
You could do either. 4 channel would give you fade/balance capabilities. I'd go with a 4 channel if I was him. Don't want to lose those capabilities.

JerryLZ
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_38338_Precision-Power-PPI-P900.4.html Thanks for the input but I think I'm going to avoid ppi again. I was using a 1000.1 for my subs before I upgraded to my new scv2k recently and I had to Dremel off those bars that cover the screw holes and even then the screws were off center from where you could reach with a screw driver so you lose your bite or you strip the screw to hell. If It was Allen keys instead of Philips then maybe not so bad but definitely a odd set up that I'm not willing to deal with again.
