Hooah87
Hi forums I'm building a box for my 2013 Nissan Cube putting in a 12" subwoofer My total dimensions are 10" height, 35" width, and 16" depth, using 3/4" mdf, Box calculator says 2.38 cubes Looking for an L shaped port My sub takes up .1 cubes Port displacement .14 Slot port 3.5" by 40" gives me tuning around 29-30 hz I believe Should net 2.14 cubes Want to have subwoofer looking up at roof and port firing towards licensed plate Can someone help me with a cut sheet please. I tried drawing it on paper but I'm having difficulties. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Joe X
Need to know what's the sub and amp and if 16D is the absolute maximum depth or not.
Hooah87
It's a Lanzar opti 1232d dual 2 ohm version Amp is Lanzar vibe 1800d older version with 4 30 amp fuses on it I know it's not the greatest product but it's what I got and I wanna use it. Ya 16 and a half is maximum depth and that's pushing it. Thank you for the reply
Hooah87
@ Joey x saw what you did for the pilot and he's L5 12 . Really like your work. I tried to download and use sketch up but I suck at it. Would really appreciate if you could do the same for me.
3vil
I don't mean to thread jack, but I have a question related to the topic of cut sheets. When using SketchIng, is there an actual working plugin to lay out your cut sheet? Right now I basically just copy+paste each group and then try to Tetris them onto a 4X8, so that I get the best material usage. I would love to know of a more efficient way. Hooah87
I've decided to simplify my design to be able to do it all on my own. Going with two 4" pvc ports and tune it to 29-30 ish . Super excited about starting it up, unfortunately I'll have to wait a few days before I start, wifey gave birth to our baby girl today!!! I'll post pics of the build soon as I get going on it. Don't see many builds with my 2013 Nissan Cube!!!
