Alright Guys

This is the gear i have and can afford.
* PR-80 Head-Unit

* Hertz HSK-165XL 6.5 Component Speakers

* Crescendo C1100.4 Amplifier
* Sound deadner + Fibre-Glass
* Shok Industry wires and Cables.
* BIG 3 Upgrade

So I've replaced the radio in my 2004 Holden Combo to a Pioneer PR-80 Head-unit. Do i need a processor OR the Built in Graphic EQ is just as good ?
I've started Fibre-glassing the bottom door panels for the mid-bass driver's and up higher for the tweets also added sound deadner inside the door for
fuller, Accurate, Tight and better SQ sound for the Hertz HSK-165XL 6.5 Component speakers. ( Going Active not Passive )
Bought a Crescendo C1100.4 Amplifier to power my set of Component Speakers, ( Wanting to get 180-300 Watt/RMS out of the set ) also any guidance on how to wire them up to the Amplifier.

Can i get some opinions, info, Guidance, Feedback on what you guys think Thanks
This Audio shit is driving me mental, lol

Mark has some great SQ videos. Go to YouTube and search "CarAudioFabrication" that's his channel. Should be enough info to at least get your started. But be warned SQ is a tricky game, there's so many variables that can affect your sound in a good or bad way.

Checked a couple videos out, Mark seems alright and knows what he is talking about.
Who i would really like to speak with is cable guy if he is lurking the forum somewhere.
SQ maybe hella tricky and difficult, but Im willing to spend multiple days on end getting it picture perfect,
When its done right, it all pays off i guess.

No limit really with SQ, as far as i can take it i guess.
Reason why wanting 130-300 is to get hella loud, but at the same time focusing on getting it crystal clear with the right mid bass, stage, image.

also if i've already got the Pioneer DEH-80PRS single din head-unit with the built in 16-band Digital Equaliser,
If i purchase a (DD-1) will that do the job for tuning, or is there more then that needed in equipment to complete the job ?

Can anyone help me on this forum ?

Depending on what your goals are and rms power for the components you are going to use. If the 180w is to high, use a dd-1 to set where it is clean, and back off a tad so it's not putting out that full power.

I'm very confident with ToNasty telling you the minimum recommendations to get you steered in the right direction to Sound Quality. Ask the right questions and I will be glad to help.

Sound Quality setups can get quite loud, but primarily intended "windows up, doors closed" situations. Primary intention is focus on the music and who gives a shit what it sounds like outside of the vehicle. In fact, with the windows up and doors closed ... the people outside of the vehicle should hear nothing if the vehicle is built correctly.

Sq isn't at high volumes. You don't want sq.

I don't think he wants to compete. He is looking for knowledge and info on how to achieve good levels of SQ so he can put it together with the gear he has and how he wants it to sound.

You can throw all the power you want on components. However, if the amplifier doesn't have the dynamics to control the drivers properly, you're wasting your money. Not saying anything about the amplifier you mention by any means ... but you have to research before you buy. Most well built small output amplifiers can walk all over larger monsters in dynamics. Main reason people pay the big bucks for them. Just saying
