I'm running 8k on 2 x18s and it sounds good. I have smoked one already though.. They will take 6-8k dangerously for the pair. They are more stable at 4k per pair thouugh and im doing that as soon as I get to building a wall and buying another x18. If you clip at all on 6-8k your speakers are poof.

Just because you have 8krms worth of amp it doesn't mean those subs are ever gonna see 8k.

Also just because it works out that way for your build doesn't mean it will for his build.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

And honestly if you've got 8k on tap you should just buy subs better suited to that kind of power,

All you do when you're way overpowering subs like that is just waste lots of power by having it be turned into heat.

Think its to much..3k each x15

If you're an experienced builder, and are confident in your box design/building skills as well as you tuning capabilities, then go for it. If you're not all those things, but you have quite a bit of disposable income for recones, go for it. If you don't really have much experience in box design, and you don't have a lot of spare cash, then go for it and post a video in YouTube the first time you play it.
