4" aero port enough for single sa8?

Recommended Posts

id like to go big on the box, around .75 to 1.0 cu/ft net for a little more peak and tune around 32hz. Will a single 4" port be enough? I'm trying to keep the gross box displacement down that's why I'm thinking aero port (homemade)over slot port. I'm ok with it sticking out a little. Power will be 1000wrms.

Thanks

I went with 3 -3" ports for my pair of SA 8s in a 1.5cuft box. Worked well

Sealed off trunk

Digital designs deadener on roof/ rear deck

Orion hcca 12s (black coils)

Orion xtr3700.1

Is that 1.5cuft with the ports or without? How long were the ports? Were they in the box or sticking out?
