sideshow_kustom Posted November 7, 2016 Report Share Posted November 7, 2016 SO I got bored and decided to do a rather odd build to try to put 2 Sundown Audio X6.5's on the map in my wife's all stock Nissan Versa! So I started off with the base of the design, A dual Bass tube for the 2 6.5's and my buddy Jared Gibson CNC cut them out for me so the name became Smith & Gibson Double Barrel Once it was done was time to build the outer box. OH yeah this is a series tuned 6th order but I will not give no other specs on the box! I had my oldest daughter (14 years old) who does freestyle art do a little art work on the outer box for me that is called the Smith & Gibson 6.5" SNIPER Now into the car! I want to compete this season for fun so I joined the N.S.P.L. 0-24" Beginner class since this is my first time competing and I want to get my feet wet and be heard! There is a 500 watt cap in this class so I had to make it work on low power! This is a SEALED score with Mic on windshield firing from the cargo area! Now it's time to get 145+ certified! SO I can let a little of the sand out! As far as power I am doing this off a Sundown Audio SAX-200.4d v.2 using only 2 of the 4 channels. I jumped up to the 0-24" No Wall Hardcore class where power is unlimited. Me only using about 800 watt's still pulled off a 145.4! Hell the wife's car put's up better numbers on the meter then the White Wagon! LOL But I have had it on more power and started breaking stuff in it so I dialed it back some. It is more of my Show/Demo car and SUPER hard to find parts for so I can't be breaking stuff in it! That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
