The Punch Series Amps Are 2 Ohm Stable Right? just making sure before i tell someone to do it

friend's been asking me how to wire up his dvc 4 ohm sub to his p400.2, i told him parallel to 2 ohms and it'd be fine.
but i just wanted to make sure with someone else 1st
My system:
CDA-9887
RF P450.4
RF T1k
RF Punch 6.5" Components
RF FNP 5.25" Components
MB Quart 3.5" Coax's
AA Assassin 8"
.4 cf sealed downfire

its 2ohm stable per channel but not 2 ohm stable to bridge

but can he run 1 coil per channel?

Yes, you can run each coil to a channel for 4ohm stereo or wire the coils in series and bridge the amp, this would be an 8ohm bridged mono load.

i got a P600 and it's wired @ 1 ohm right now lol.

gotta keep gain all the way down or i'll keep blowing the fuses hehe.

shit gets loud as hell though for the seconds it lasts.

Well, correct this so that the amp is connected to the right impedance and the amplifier will jam all night long. If you own a P6002, this amplifier will not make much power at 1 ohm bridged anyway! Far more to be had at 4 ohms bridged!

thats pretty stupid. i cant wait to see the thread where you say "i blew my amp and i dunno why???"

if it keeps shutting off that means YOUR RUNNING IT TO HARD. get a dfferent amp or different subs.
