OK, then which will get ultimately louder, cuz I can always add more watts later?
I just busted up 2 of my L7's and I probably wanna replace all of them with Rockfords T2's

I wouldn't necessarily say that. Depends on the install and the user.

Why? I have ran L7's in the past and beat the hell out of them all day every day and never once had a problem that wasn't my fault.
Either one will make you happy, If you want the RF then buy them, if you want the Kicker then buy those, but don't think kicker can't take abuse/power. Because trust me they can.

I had rockford 15 punch HX2 before (They were good) then switched to 06 15 L7's. 2 06 15 L7's in sealed took a lot of beating from an T15002 then an MM4000.1D now a T40001BD, birth sheet sais 4800. I was running only 2 L7's on my T4 at 2ohms while playing Dayton Family Outlaw, when a sound that sounded like a tractor trailer Jake braking came from the box, signaling the end to them.
I run 4 L7's on the weekend and and none or 2 during the week.
I believe the switch to ported box with low frequency music caused the voice coil to bottom out against the magnet a few times ,causing the cones to break away from there coils.
The 2006 L7's can take a lot of abuse, but can the Rockford T2's take more abuse and be just as loud or loader?

Are you asking about 06 L7's or the new 08 L7's? I haven't played with a 08 one yet but I hear they are a lot better then the 06's.
Both subs can get loud.... basicly everything you are talking about is pure install.

Unless you can take each sub to test them to perfection, you will never know.
Unless you can design some badass boxes, it won't matter which one you get.

If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out.
