2 Rf T10001bd Wont Fully Turn On is it amps or bad relay or remote wire

my 2 amps wont fully turn on in my system. my kenwood mids and high amp cuts on but only one t1k will try to power up if i unhook 1 the other still wont fully power up

the both make the sound that theyre powering up but wont fully click on

what could be the cause of this

current set-up
kenwood ddx 712
clarion eq
focal 165 k2p front
focal 165v2 rear
2 re audio sexxx 12
us amps md3d
us amps md42
1 optima yellow top (rear)
1 xs power 5100r (front)
big 3 and 1 run 1/0 stinger wire

yeah i got the power 1/0,... batteries ....big 3

remote wire str8 from the deck wont turn on the fosgates with relay its still not strong enough

Unhook everything but the power & ground and jumper the power to the remote.

Sounds like your remote wire out of your deck is bad. I have the same amps, no relays, and mine works fine. Remote wire straight from my hu.

Could the rca be gounding out?
yes should be checked right at amp with DMM rem wire and 12V
My amps spark 1 time when I connect them. Anymore take it out bench test it.

thats what im thinking because the sub pre-outs went bad even if the remote wire from the hu is bad wouldnt the relay boost it

you do have a remote wire running from the H/U to relay and then from the relay your remote wires running to your amp(s) right? well i'm with jblack on this one. gots to be your remote signal going out on your h/u. good luck man. i know it sucks to have such nice equipment can't really play it.

My brother had this problem with his 2 RF X7s. He had 2 relays and still had this problem. 1 amp keep shutting off when he started pumping his system due to voltage drop in his remote wire. I asked this question on the RF forum and Sactownstang or Snafu (can't remeber which one) suggested the test that Derrick just mentioned. That's how we found out he had a bad remote wire in his hu.

But it could also be the RCAs, as sactown mentioned.

from my h/u to relay it worked fine for a week then my sub outputs went bad and then it wouldnt power up all the amps

try running a new remote wire to something different....like fuse box or cigarrete lighter...

how do you know which isnt reading right

Well first unplug the rca and speaker wire.
Then test the +12 and ground if it's all good 12.2-13 are fine.
Then using the same ground turn on the deck the remote should have 12-12 v.

If all these items are correct and the amp does not power up, the amp needs repair.
If not we can go to the next step.
