Sorry ask a dumb question like this but what's the difference between the two amps, there both power series amps the t10001 is rated at 1450watts and the t1500bd is rated like 1500-1600 watts. What am I missing why do they look different I see people running the silver t10001 or the t20001 but none of the black power amps, which would you guys buy?

i'd do the T1500-1bd. it's smaller so you can fit it just about anywhere along with it being more powerful than the T10001bd.
2-DC lvl 4 w/lvl 5 coils 15s
1-DC 30001 amp
(1)Kinetik HC2000 underhood and (1)XS Power D3100(REAR)
2 runs 1/0ga for power/1/0ga for negative
2-ALPINE 5X7 Component Sets ...... 4 separate 1 inch tweeters
1-RF Punch 450.4
1-Audiocontrol 3.1
260 amp DC power alternator
MLA Module

I'd go the T1k. They are bigger, but that means better cooling! Plus i like how the cables are all covered neatly :)

Off the top of my head.... 1500 is non-strappable, non-linkable and only has a 4 gauge input. Yeah its smaller and suppose to be easier on the eletrical system. Barely does over rated power..... am I missing anything...

So will this amp be enough to push 2 15's(L7 or T1) or should I try buying a second one.

YA
You have to use a Punch Bass per T1500-1BD were you can use as many T1000.1BDs as you want and use one Punch Bass control to control all T1000.1BDs you want.
Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one.

A cap is only good if you have 0 voltage loss and want to clean up the power at the peaks of the ripples..

Boon: Don't get hung up on specs like xmax. It's probably the third-most lied about spec, after power handling and sensitivity.

Either amp will power the L7's or T1's nicely.

Hey everyone hold on a second while I adjust all 4 of my bass knobs for my 4 amps.

All I will say is I was pissed I was really wanting 2 T1500-1BDs untill I found out I couldn't use the Punch Bass Knob on 2 amps. Pissed LOL

NO I don't want an epicenter a line level control or Phoenix Gold Bass Cube. Dammit I want Punch Bass.

It may be a petty thing put it was the way the punch bass is designed is what made me start useing RF amps from the get go.
I like me some heavy metal and it just works so good with it.

I've had both and I think the T1500-1 is the better of the two= more power! I still have the the T1500-1. It's easier on the electrical system takes up only 15x8x2 inches (small) and pounds 1500+ watts! The knob thing does suck but what'd do?

Input taken . . . I sent the NPD dept a request for a rubber band long enough to go around 4 bass knobs . . . they said no problem . . .

I wish jack would chime in here. I know he runs 4 of the 1500's in his car and would like to know how he matches them up.

Thats a good one.

Snafu in all honsety if you don't mind would you explain why the remote bass boost can only work with one amplifier.

Does RF feel that not enough people are going to run more than one amp per knob?

Why not release a splitter like the RFC3215 that was used with the 2000 to 2003 amps?

I have been wondering why theres not an easy way to use just one bass boost knob on multiple amps?
Snafu this is a question I have been wondering about since I got my second 2003 1501BD along time ago.

Please would you explain why RF makes the bass boost circuit the way they do?
