Hey guys, I'm setting up a system for my 2003TL Type-S and was really needed some opinions and ideas from the vets out there. I dont want an ear shattering setup like Steve Meade but I do want something that you can definitely feel and hear me before you see me. I was cruising the site here and really was thinking about going with the T112d4's and the T10001BD. I also was thinking about using a T4004 for my inside speakers. Are (2)T112d4's capable of acheiving some hard slam? Also I was wondering if I should add on a cap and a battery for the system if so what kind and I was also wanting to know what kind of box would sound better? Any suggestions and ideas would be greatly appreciated....

Thanks,
KINGSHT205

i would not use a cap. i'd upgrade the starter battery and add another battery at least. i personally like to go ported with my boxes. i like to tune them low. i listen to mostly rap tho, so if you listen to rock or other types, you might wanna tune a lil higher if you go that route

I listed at a lot of rap myself...maybe a little r&b when the misses is in the car. i found a box at finecustomworks.com if you can check it out for me and let me know what you think. And also what batteries do you suggest i was checking out a yellow top optima and a kinectic for the back

I've got T1 15 and run it off 612 RMS in a sealed enclosure and it is very very good. Great for all types of music!

I'd say with 2 12's it'd be ptty farken sweet. A t1k is plenty of power for 'em too...

at the shop I work at we install 1500w systems regularly with nothing more than an upgraded ground from the frame to the battery and I never see them coming back because a black hole has opened up and swallowed their children or something equally terrible...
