I am thinking about getting a RF 10 Farad Cap, from this i will be running a rf t-1500 and a RF t-400-4, should i still consider buying this or should i get a 2nd battery, but if i get a 2nd battery will i need an alt with higher output. (front battery is optima yellow top)

but the metal caught me between the legs and tore open my sack. I'm not kidding about this at all, it actually tore a small hole in my ballsack.

Ive never hooked up a second battery..... Any advice on putting one in?
And why not just get a cap?? Wouldnt it just be easier?

so whats wrong with a cap? and what type battery would be good for a 2nd battery
A capacitor does not make power it only stores it. A capacitor is not bad, but for your application, im guessing your lights are dimming?, it will not solve your problem. What you are experiencing is lack of current for the demand your system is tolling. A 2nd battery maybe the cheapest fix to do first, you will have more power on reserve, however your alternator will be working hard to keep the batteries charged. Looking at the big picture can help you with the future headaches. A high output alternator maybe cheaper than in the long run with the temporary fix of the battery( I say temporary because your alternator is still working hard and one day it will fail on you and you will need to replace it). Think it over, do a little more research on your side, and you decide for yourself.
