anyone ever tried to use these in a daily application? i seen something like 10 cubes tuned to 60 for a 12 somewhere, but that would be an spl box.

Yeah, Derrick824's brother had a pair he used daily. I think he had them in a 10 cubic foot box tuned in the 30's. They sounded good and loud as hell but everything he ever put in the excursion sounded loud and deep.

anyone ever tried a smaller box, more like 2.5 each? i want to try this but i don't wanna kill anything in the process.

RF Tech recommended 10ft net per sub to us. That was ridiculous so I went on someone elses recommendation of 13ft for the pair. Tuned to 30hz they sounded alright for daily but not good. We later put the pair in 4ft net and they got loud but didn't sound good at all. I do not recommend these as daily subs.

thanks man i appreciate the honesty. you ever burped just one? i know i have to experiment and build over and over but i was kinda looking at a starting point.
