Just giving you Chi-town guys a heads up on this one. My Memphis rep brought it to my attention and I'd like some competition out there. So if you wanna go up against the PT Pounder come and get some! (Not really...you'll probably smoke me. :blush:)

Ya know, I'm not sure. I'll give them a call tomorrow and find out what'sall going on. But I don't think it's anything big competitors will be interested in. Mainly just a local.

I might try and do this just for fun even though I know they are probably doing to do it db drag style and my truck sucks sealed up.

Damn. I gave them a call and got some info about the competition...this is as "local" as it gets.

Since they are a new shop, the owner, who I talked to, didn't know how the turnout was going to be so he only has two classes. <1000W and 1000W+ <--how sad is that? And he'll be measuring with an AC meter.

He knew nothing about how dbDrag or bassrace worked for real and got shitty with me when I recommended he added a higher class due to it being unfair. For some of us coming out there, it will be like fighting an infant.

I don't think I'm gonna compete now, but I'll still go out there for demos/videos and to meet ppl. But just giving a heads up. I'm not gonna go up against a 1000W trunk system. They'd probably beat me anyways. :rolleyes:

He is having another show in August based on who shows up this time. He said there's only six trophies and they're small. Not worth my time really. The flyer shows some bad ass rides, but I don't think he did any of them.

9887 peerless 7s in the doors and CDT tweeters ran active no speakers in the rear
Kintik HC1400 under the hood.
metered once a while ago, dont remember it...was piss poor compared to the blazer, mid 130s i think....looking to replace subs and amp when i have money.
