Alright.

So I just picked up a second T1500 off my buddy that had one but doesn't use it. I put it in and i was doing gain matching and such to get the voltages correctly. So after sitting there for an hour or so to get the gains to match correctly I came to a big problem. At the lowest gain on the newer T1500 that I just got replaced the DMM AC Voltage was 43 volts. So that was cool because ya know, it was always nice to have a good 43 x 43 / 2 = 924 watts of power at 2 ohms at the lowest gain. So I came to my older amplifier.... it was only doing 39 volts which was only 760 watts of power at 2 ohms. So I matched the gain accordingly and went and beat on the system. Started smelling my subs (or so I thought) came back home and opened the trunk. Felt both subs and I realized that the older amp that i had to gain match was clipping only one of my subs. This was a problem because i simply cannot turn down the gain on the other one to match the one with the lower voltage because it's already at its lowest. So I called up Forest at Rockford and told him my situation. He told me they would swap out my old one with a newer version so I could use both amps without ruining one of my subs. I'm sorry but that is customer service.... making sure I am satisfied and getting things working for me when nothing is technically broken. This is why I will always stay with Rockford!

Damn, RF really has some nice service, replacing you're pold RF amp to match you're new amp.
anyone can hook up a system. Not everyone chooses to do it correctly... (Steve meade.)
