I'll start out by saying that anyone who has a trunk car knows it's not all that easy to reach and pass a 150db sealed on the dash.

Well that is my goal, to reach and pass a 150. Also, I want to be able to do a decent hair trick and ultimately Bass Race the 49.9 class with all the equipment in the trunk.

The car specs:

2006 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE
Stock front battery (mostly not used)
Stock alternator
Factory Bose System metered a 119db at 43hz. (Not to bad for a factory system).
Black leather seats
20% tint on all glass except for the 5% on the sunroof.
No engine mods.
Car is pretty much all stock.

Here are just a few pictures of the car....

Best score to date is a 148.6 sealed on the dash with two Rockford T1 15's powered by a Sundown Saz-2000.
I have hit this score three times in a local competition.

If you build it, db's will come...

NSPL World Record Holder Trunk 0-1800 watts---147.9 with 1722 clamped watts @ 40Hz(9-20-09).
Competition Only Record Holder Trunk 0-500 watts---148.1

2006 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE
Currently Rebuilding....
My 150db Plus Trunk Build
I do box designs.

150 shouldn't be a problem. Bassracing a 149.9 and not breaking the subs might be your issue. Here's the other thing that I've ran into with identical equiptment. You know that I have 2 2000's and 2 D3100's and with the car running in idle and volume all the way up sometimes an amp will go into protect. With the volume all the way up the car is still way over a 149.9, but it is an issue especially after 2 ties in bassrace when you have to shut the car off. With even less voltage the amps may protect on you. I'm working on fixing that problem right now so I'll let you know what I come up with if you want. I'm sure a 250 amp alt will help with the car on but car off is a different story.
