OrenB217
I was stuck in the snow for about 10 seconds and accelerated to 4-5 rpms then got free, but then i noticed a burning smell afterwards, seeing a little bit of smoke coming from the front of my car. I am guessing since i have front wheel drive that it was the tires, i am not sure though. Im hoping i did not damage my car by doing that. Am i making this a big deal or did i seriously mess something up. The car is running just fine, no smell, no check lights or anything. audiofanaticz
The burning smell would be your tires from spinning in the snow/ice.

white4d96
Might be transmission fluid. I know I can smell tranny after I get my car unstuck. Then again its a different car so might not be your problem. Wouldn't be worried about it. Too many projects, too little time...
