Hi Guys

I've just come across this website whilst searching for a box calculator and am i glad i found you guys:D

I've downloaded the Torres calculator and had a little play with it to design a box for 4 jbl gto 1202d's

here's the spec sheet for it: http://manuals.harman.com/JBL/CAR/Technical%20Sheet/GTO%201202D%20Enclosure.pdf

and here is a rough sketchup of what i'm trying to achieve:

boxpic.th.jpg

and this is what i've managed to work out with the Torres calculator:

boxport.th.jpg

The external dimensions of the box are the absolute max i can use and i was hoping you guys can give me some advice on how

i can improve on what i've done so far.

Cheers

Dave

first thing i noticed, is that the # of extra baffles should be whole numbers (1, 2, 3, etc) and you have .07. unless you shave a LOT of the MDF off, that's not really possible :P another thing is the port is pretty thin. i'd try to get a 1:6 port ratio for width and height to avoid port noise. and make sure to check the sub up and port up check boxes :)

those are really the only issues i see
