What Volume Headunits Clip At

Every pioneer I have every done clips at 45 give or take 1

same here

sealed up on the termlab mic on dash 4-sa12"s 2-3500d's 153.4db now testing a american bass 1100.1 no numbers yet 300amp iraggi alt and kinetik batts.

just set your gains accordingly...

is this for running speakers on the HU? because with an amp, clipping goes according to what the gains are at.. at least for me.

Panasonic CQ-VD7003U clips @ -8 on mine and -6 on my buddy's using 50hZ and 1000hZ (1khZ)

My Eclipse AVN7000 clips at 73 on same freqs. I tested one at my buddy's shop and it clipped at 71.

to test ur head unit with an o scope do u check ur speaker leads or ur pre amp outputs?

we test the pre amp outputs.

I want to point out to everyone here that ipods have been known to clip music at full volume... Best thing you could do is burn the track to a cd or if you have USB on your cd player put it on a flash drive.

My pioneer 510UB clips at 58/62 with a flash drive and around 45-46 off my ipod..
