Recommended Posts

I thought you might be interested in seeing the build log of our little Classic VW Beetle.. Its another UK built vehicle, hope you dont mind me posting it on here! ;)

Its not got huge amounts of power like some of the installs on SMD but it has been built strong and is very efficient with the amount of power we are using!

The systems will consist of the following:

6 x 13inch JL W3 subs

3 x 1000 watt J2 JL amps

2 x J2 4 channel amps

1 x 2 channel amp

4 pairs C2 JL Component speakers

1 pair of C5 co-ax's

3 Red flash batteries

Second alternator

Alpine headunit

Lots of sound deadening

Heres a photo of how it looked when it was purchased..

We then changed the colour and added wider rear arches.

If you haven't already purchased the JL's you should look into some other stuff.

All the equipments in and doing a really good job!

I built the vehicle for a UK JL Audio Signature dealer (Oxford Car Audio) and they wanted to use JL.

Its a streetbasser not a numbers vehicle so they did'nt want to use kit that was too expensive or too power hungry as its only a little car... with an even smaller engine!! ;)
